I’ve learned a lot over the years over what I want, and
need. I try not to put any impositions of expectations on
what is going to happen next with whomever I am with so as
not prevent things from happening naturally. I worry that
when people specify “I am looking for X (E.g. long term,
short term, etc) they might create or force a self
fulfilling prophecy. Do you end up in that style of
relationship with that person because it was your goal, or
because it really was meant to be? I figure just take things
day by day, and just let things happen naturally, which
explains why I don’t have much in the way of specifications
or limits on my profile (for those who are always curious to
note that)
I like to keep in shape, and focus on my
health, my hobbies, and my career. In that respects, I would
like someone with similar values who has a life and goals of
their own, but also has an active interest in combining and
partaking in the interests of their partner as well. That is
certainly of large importance for me at this point, is to be
able to share and involve the person I am with, in those
things I am involved with. (which can, ruefully I admit,
range from the nerdy of programming and my art, to more
mainstream of going out for drinks, dancing, or working
out.) |

Well, good enough, I am sure. I think people can judge for
themselves. I keep in shape, and take care of myself. I live
maticulously and comfortably, and try to take that sense of
percision and care in my apperance and health. |

| Looking for |
At this point in my life, I am really wanting to meet
someone. That sounds more trite then intended. I don't mean
to meet just anyone, to be sure. I want to find a woman who
fascinates me, truly inspires me, and really meet her,
really know her. Finding just anyone, meeting just anybody
is easy enough, but it is so unsatisfying. I am so tired of
disatisfaction, and want to be getting to know someone
interesting that will be curious to share our interests and
be of a like mind.
I certainly do not expect, nor seek
perfection. Rather the opposite, I cherish flaws and refrain
quite avidly from putting people on pedastals. I know it is
the late great thing in our egocentric society to expect
your partner to worship the ground you walk upon, however I
disagree. I think to care for someone is to accept them with
honesty about entirety. By placing someone on a pedestal, it
greats an unrealistic expectation, and should they falter
sets the stage for a fall from grace that opens the door for
the worshipper to view them as the inverse of what they were
before. Health in a relationship is in knowledge of the
person being a human, and enjoying the normalcy of that.
